Businesses trick-or-treat

Area residents are invited to trick-or-treat Newcastle businesses from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 24. Newcastle Chamber of Commerce will be announcing which businesses are taking part. With that said, businesses wanting to participate can email [email protected].
Newcastle Chamber of Commerce invites area residents to attend the October luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 22 at the Newcastle Library. The speaker is KC Shepherd with Radio Ag Network. She’ll be discussing the Future of Agriculture. You can register at newcastleok.org.
Area residents looking to adopt a dog will have that possibility at Veterans Park on Saturday, October 26. The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City Animal Shelter for this activity during Haunt the Park, going on at the same time. Related story on this page.
The annual Haunt the Park event will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, October 26 at Veterans Park in Newcastle. City Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Marks said the City is looking for local businesses and organizations to set up their Trick-or-Treat booths or game booths.
