The University of Central Oklahoma sent out a congratulatory statement to the the 311 students from Oklahoma, the U.S. and the world who completed their college degrees during the summer 2024 semester.
Among them was Alex Holden of Newcastle. He has earned a Masters of Education and certification in Instruction- Teaching & Learning in Pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.
Since Central does not hold a summer commencement ceremony, many of their students participated in the spring 2024 ceremony.
