It was another close McClain County election, but C. More Beef has been declared the winner over Frank Furter.
The kids’ election, which took place at the Mc-Clain County Fair and was overseen by the Mc-Clain County Election Board, resulted in a 65-58 vote with voters saying there’s the beef, while dismissing the pork.
In an unusual result, the election board said there were 10 over votes, or 10 of the elementary age voters who cast a ballot for both candidates.
Election Board spokesperson Tenna Garrett said there were a total of 133 ballots cast.
