The U.S. Constitution is taught in schools on September 17 which is Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.

This day commemorates the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787.

The law requires all educational institutions that receive federal funds to hold a Constitution Day program.

Schools may meet this requirement in a number of ways, such as holding a campus assembly or distributing information in every class.
