The July report by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority indicates that sales were more brisk in both Blanchard and Purcell than they were in Newcastle.
Local sales of medical marijuana resulted in a return of $6,621.92 to the City of Newcastle coffers, and returned state sales tax of $6,621.94. Blanchard had $11,958.24 returned to its city, while another $10,290.71 went to the state.
In Purcell, sales resulted in $12,423.65 going to the city while $10,481.27 went to the state.
