Pioneer Library System is inviting the public for a day of excitement and exploration at Touch A Truck.

Taking place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 28, at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Norman, Touch A Truck offers a fun-filled experience for kids to learn and grow by interacting with fire engines, garbage trucks, food trucks, construction vehicles, and more, said a PLS spokesperson. In addition, attendees can explore PLS’s Mobile Maker Lab, a cutting-edge technology center on wheels.

A quiet hour will be offered from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

For almost two decades, this beloved fundraiser has been providing families with a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of vehicles while supporting children’s literacy and STEAM programs in the Cleveland County community. Hosted by the PLS Foundation, this event brings community members together in a meaningful way each year.

Proceeds from Touch A Truck support literacy and STEAM programming at PLS’s Cleveland County library branches.

The Pioneer Library System Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable entity established in 2010 to connect individuals and organizations who value libraries with opportunities to expand the Pioneer Library System’s impact in its communities.
