The annual McClain County Free Fair kicks off Thursday (today) for a three day run that includes fun for the entire family.
New to the events this year is a rodeo to be held on both Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8 p.m.
Baked goods and fresh flowers were checked in Wednesday morning.
EVENTS
Among events on Thursday is a youth cornhole tournament, a youth dummy roping contest, a stick horse rodeo and a bean supper followed by an ice cream social.
Friday is school children’s day and among agenda items on Saturday is a dutch oven cooking contest.
The annual fair runs from September 5-7 at the McClain County Expo Center on Hardcastle Blvd in Purcell.
