Dirt moving is just one part of the work underway at Newcastle High School as part of a bond issue to build additional classrooms and other amenities provided by district patrons. Because of the work, visitors at NHS will need to go to the temporary front office at the auditorium. Work includes new classrooms for special education, family and consumer science, band/safe room, science and chemistry labs, and remodeling of the freshman center.
