The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce State of the State Luncheon is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. today Thursday at the Newcastle Library Community Room, 705 N.W. 10th Street.
State Senator Jessica Garvin is the featured speaker for the event. Garvin said her topics will be current legislative activity, and a recap of what she has accomplished over the past four years.
To attend, go to the Chamber’s website at https://newcastleok.org/ to preregister and pay. The cost is $15 if you RSVP. It’s still okay to show up on the day of the luncheon, but the cost at the door is $20.
The presenting sponsor for the luncheon is First United Bank - Hwy 9. Beverage sponsor is Mike Whaley.
