A Newcastle student was among those announced as winners of the 2024-2025 Jimmie L. Dean Scholarship Freshman Award winners.
Chloe Sheriff of Newcastle was among those listed. She is attending Oklahoma State University.
Other students listed as recipients were: Timothy Martin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Baptist University; Ripken Wallace of Jones, Oklahoma State University; Elle Scott of McLoud, Oklahoma State University; Cody Moss of Stillwater, Oklahoma State University; Abigail Thomason of Sallisaw, Oklahoma State University; Seth Ratke of Edmond, Oklahoma State University; Randi Fulton of Wagoner, University of Central Oklahoma; Nathan Pennybaker of Sand Springs, University of Tulsa; Emma Oller of McLoud, University of Tulsa; and Michael Bassett of Broken Arrow, University of Tulsa.
A spokesperson or the Jimmie L. Dean Scholarships Foundation said they congratulate all their scholarship winners.
