A Pioneer Library System spokesperson said they are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the 2024 Summer Learning Challenge.
“Thanks to the incredible efforts and enthusiasm of the community, participants logged over 15 million points this summer,” she said.
Summer Learning Challenge, an annual initiative aimed at encouraging all ages to engage in educational activities throughout the summer months, has once again exceeded expectations.
With a diverse range of activities including reading, science projects, and interactive workshops, the challenge has provided enriching experiences for thousands of young learners across Oklahoma.
In recognition of this extraordinary achievement, the Pioneer Library System Foundation is also proud to announce that it will be donating books to children enrolled in WIC programs across all three counties in the PLS service area.
These donations will help ensure that even more children have access to the educational resources they need to succeed.
The Pioneer Library System spokesperson said PLS extends heartfelt thanks to all the participants, parents, volunteers, and staff who contributed to the success of the 2024 Summer Learning Challenge.
Library users are encouraged to continue logging their SLC points and complete their SLC personal goal of 1,000 points. SLC prizes can be picked up at your local library.
