A special auction will be part of this year’s Newcastle Livestock Booster Club Bonus Auction. An eight-day, seven-night hunting trip in South Africa for four hunters, worth a value of $12,600, is also being auctioned.
The successful bidder or bidders will hunt for trophy class animals on a game range in the Limpopo province of South Africa. They’ll stay in an all-inclusive hunting lodge with three gourmet meals per day with wine and beer, and hunt with professional hunters on a one hunter to one guide ratio.
Each hunter or couple will have a single occupancy room and bathroom.
Not included in the trip are trophy fees for animals harvested or wounded or lost, airfare, accomodations before or after the hunt, dip and pack or other taxidermy services, trophy export costs, rifle rental if you don’t bring your rifle, gratuities, personal or medical insurance, and non-hunters.
There is pickup and dropoff at the Johannesburg Airport.
Hunting season in South Africa is from February to November, but the most popular time is from last May until late August.
