Multi-Chamber Business Bites August 13

A Multi-Chamber Business Bites will be noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13 at Jamie Jo’s, 151 E. Main Street in Tuttle.

Attendees will have lunch on their own at the restaurant while networking with chamber members from Tuttle, Blanchard and Tuttle.

Morning Mingle August 16

The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Morning Mingle for August will be at 9 a.m., August 16 at Newcastle United Methodist Church, 121 E. Fox Lane.

The event is a good time for networking and the church asks that those attending bring a non-perishable item for the NUMC Food Pantry. A report from the church earlier this year indicated that the pantry was pretty low already and items are requested to aid those in Newcastle who have need.

State of the State Luncheon August 29

The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce State of the State Luncheon is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 29 at the Newcastle Library Community Room, 705 N.W. 10th Street.

State Senator Jessica Garvin is the featured speaker for the event. Garvin said her topics will be current legislative activity, and a recap of what she has accomplished over the past four years.

To attend, go to the Chamber’s website at https://newcastleok.org/ to preregister and pay. The cost is $15 if you RSVP. It’s still okay to show up on the day of the luncheon, but the cost at the door is $20.

Golf Tournament Fundraiser September 30

An annual golf tournament fundraiser is being planned by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce for 8 a.m. Monday, September 30 at Hidden Trails Country Club.

Those wanting to participate can register online at www.newcastle.org. Area businesses and individuals who want to help sponsor the tournament can email chamber@newcastle. org or talk with Chamber CEO/Executive Director Gayla Riddle. Cash, door prizes, and a 50/50 pot will be part of the tournament.

A variety of support is being sought including sponsors for the meal, “It’s in the bag,” drink cart and water, contests, tents, and holes.

Team sponsorships are also available for the following: Platinum Team, $800, includes team of four, tent, and sign on hole; Gold Team, $700, includes team of four and sign on hole; and Silver Team, $600, for a team of four.
