Chosen from a pool of applicants representing diverse backgrounds and regions across the state, this year’s program comprises 52 leaders who embody the essence of Leadership Oklahoma’s mission.

Among those is Wendy Perry of Newcastle, representing Moore Norman Technology Center.

Jodi Lewis, president and CEO of Leadership Oklahoma, expressed great pride in the selection process, stating, “Leadership Oklahoma is thrilled to welcome the 52 individuals chosen for Class 37. This diverse group of outstanding leaders brings a broad range of experience and interests, which will contribute to a deeper understanding of the critical issues impacting our state. Leadership Oklahoma is dedicated to recruiting, educating, and connecting caring and committed Oklahomans and providing them with the information and network to help shape Oklahoma’s future. The members of class 37 epitomize dedication to excellence and community betterment.”

Over the course of the next 10 months, class 37 will engage in a series of monthly meetings, visiting nine diverse communities throughout the state. These communities include Seminole, Lawton/Fort Sill, McAlester, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Duncan, Durant, Guymon, and Norman.

During these gatherings, participants will engage in discussions focusing on the complex social, environmental, and economic challenges that impact our state.
