In the journey towards becoming a licensed practical nurse (LPN), conquering the PN-NCLEX exam is a pivotal milestone. Recognizing the importance of thorough preparation, Mid-America Technology Center realized this and hired Gina Doyle, a renowned NCLEX reviewer, to conduct a rigorous three-day intensive training program at Mid-America Technology Center.
The NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) is a nationwide examination for the licensing of nurses in the United States, Canada, and Australia. After graduating from a school of nursing, an individual takes the NCLEX exam to receive a nursing license.
A nursing license gives an individual permission to practice nursing, granted by the state where they met the requirements.
The PN-NCLEX review aims to not only recap the entire practical nursing program but to equip the Practical Nursing (PN) students with the knowledge needed to pass the exam and to instill in them the confidence and testtaking strategies essential for success.
Doyle’s intensive training begins with a deep dive into the core concepts and principles that form the bedrock of practical nursing. From anatomy and physiology to pharmacology and patient care protocols, students undergo a comprehensive review. This reinforces and ensures that each student develops a solid understanding of the material, laying the groundwork for success in the PN-NCLEX exam.
With the foundation firmly in place, Doyle shifts her focus to imparting invaluable test-taking strategies.
