Leadership Mid-America celebrated the graduation of its 27th class of community leaders. In addition to students, sponsors, key program contributors, and families of the graduates, MATC School Superintendent Michael Eubank and MATC Deputy School Superintendent Denny Prince were in attendance.
The graduates were selected through a competitive application process and completed a leadership curriculum drawn from Dare to Lead by Brene Brown.
The class also visited area businesses each month, becoming more acquainted with the unique industries and organizations in their communities.
This year’s graduates include Laryssa Couch, Mid-America Technology Center; Hillary Kuhn, Pioneer Library System-Noble; Jennifer Trejo-Rojo, Care Alliance; Reagan Calixto, First United Bank-Purcell; Lee Litterell, city manager of Pauls Valley; Jon Baugh, CVR Energy- Wynnewood Refinery; Celest Nail, Chickasaw Nation; Renee’ Barber, Purcell Municipal Hospital; Melissa Brown, McClain Bank-Purcell; and Grace Farnan, First United Bank-Pauls Valley.

Leadership Mid-America is a regional leadership program identifying and developing leaders in the communities served by Mid-American Technology Center. The program’s mission is the following: “To develop and unite regional leaders, with the vision of being the leadership program of choice for developing regional leaders armed with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities in working together to merge community strengths and establishing a leadership standard for the region.”
