Three Newcastle athletes were invited to take part in the Southwest 2024 baseball program later this year.
Jackson Schanuel, Lane Seaton, and Kaden Longman were honorees selected by coaches from throughout the state.
Southwest 2024 will take place later this summer, when selections from around the state will gather, at a site to be announced.
Schanuel, a utility player for the Racers, is a senior this next school year. Seaton and Longman, both also utility players for the Racers, are juniors.
