Newcastle Athletics program is sponsoring the first of what they would like to be an annual event: The 2024 Newcastle Athletics Golf Scramble.
It will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. July 22 at Hidden Trails Country Club. Teams of four are $400, and a single player is $120. This includes breakfast, lunch, range balls, carts, and green fees.
There are prizes for winning teams, longest drive, and closest to the pin. There also will be a silent auction.
Sponsorships are still available for businesses or individuals wanting to help.
