The Newcastle Book Sale will be held at the Newcastle Public Library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. It is hosted by the Friends of the Newcastle Public Library.
This yearly book sale helps provide programming and outreach efforts by the Newcastle Public Library staff and will include local vendors selling goods and crafts from around the area. A Newcastle Public Library spokesperson said, “Last year we saw our highest participation from the community, and we are looking to reach even more community members this year.
“Thank you for the continued support of the Newcastle Library.”
Volunteers are needed for setting up tables and books on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31. The spokesperson said please contact the Newcastle Public Library at 405825-1965 if you are interested.
Book donations are being accepted starting May 1 and continuing through the end of the month.
