Officer Rebecca Barclay (fourth from the left) was welcomed to the Newcastle Police Department after her graduation from the CLEET academy. Chief Gary Norman said her arrival brings NPD back to a full force of 22 officers. NPD Field Training Officers and supervisors attended her graduation to show their support. Norman said the department’s commitment to a supportive small-town feel makes them confident that Barclay will be a great addition to the community.
