Norman Regional Health System is just 100 days away from the opening of the expansion at the HealthPlex. The expansion includes a new 96-bed critical care tower, Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), a larger emergency department with additional rooms, and concourse-style entry with a new Daily Grind, Gift Shop, chapel, parking garage, and more. The team has been busy preparing to welcome healers and combining the Health-Plex and Porter campuses into one, said Richie Splitt, president and CEO of Norman Regional Health System.
“There has been a lot of exciting progress and change underway over the past five years,” Splitt said. “All of this is part of Norman Regional Health System’s Inspire Health Strategic Plan, a visionary initiative aimed at elevating healthcare accessibility and patient care standards in our community. With nearly 1 million square feet of construction, we’re transforming our health system.”
