The Newcastle Book Sale will be held at the Newcastle Public Library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. It is hosted by the Friends of the Newcastle Public Library.
This yearly book sale helps provide programming and outreach efforts by the Newcastle Public Library staff and will include local vendors selling goods and crafts from around the area. Branch Manager Kendall Watson said, “Last year we saw our highest participation from the community, and we are looking to reach even more community members this year. Thank you for the continued support of your library.”
Volunteers are needed for setting up tables and books on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31.
