Several Newcastle Racer Band members received honors at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest held in April in Stillwater.
Receiving Superior ratings were: Abby Barnes, Jakob Kastens, Braxton Cyrus, Payton Wolfe, Camaron Richards, Cooper Lamb, Jared Wickham, and Katelynn Lewis.
Receiving Excellent ratings were: the Woodwind Ensemble, and Rileigh Martin. Students receiving a rating of Good were: Saydee Espinosa and Kaylin Holmes.
