The Newcastle Softball Booster Club is taking advantage of the Citywide Garage Sale and the shoppers expected in Newcastle this weekend. They are having a garage sale at the old high school gymnasium on Friday and Saturday.
A spokesperson for the group, who supports the State Champion Newcastle Racers, said donations of items are appreciated and can still be dropped off between 6-8 p.m. today (Thursday, April 25). If it is something large, donors are asked to let Coach Mike Crossley know and he will come by with a trailer.
Any items not sold can be picked up from 2-4 p.m. Sunday or they will be donated to the Salvation Army.
For those who cannot attend and purchase items at the garage sale but who want to make a cash donation to Newcastle Softball, a QR code is available on their page on Facebook.
