If you have been thinking about having a garage sale, but just don’t want to pay the City of Newcastle permit, now is your time.
The City Parks & Recreation Department announces its annual Newcastle Citywide Garage Sale April 25-27.
Registering your sale is quick and easy, according to Kyle Marks, director of Parks and Recreation, and the City is waiving the normal garage sale permit fee.
“Registering is online this year, so by signing up you’ll be added to our Citywide Garage Sale Interactive Map so bargain hunters will know how to find you,” Marks said.
He added that only your address will be used on the map and not your name or other information. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow (Friday, April 19).
Marks said garage sale shoppers are reminded to keep an eye out for the interactive map of locations to help plan out their route. Sign ups can be completed at: https://www.cognitoforms. com/CityOfNewcastle1/ NEWCASTLEOKCitywideGarageSaleSignup2024.
