As of January 30, Newcastle’s Racers were number 6 in the Oklahoma Secondary School Athletic Association Class 4A rankings.
OSSAA shows the Racers at 18-4 on the year and preparing for post-season play.
The Racers will host Harrah Friday night for the District title in the first round of the playoffs.
The Racers lost to number 10 Tuttle last week by a score of 57-46 before bouncing back with a win against Elk City on Friday, 82-56.
They played against Blanchard Tuesday night, but the game could not be reported because it was held past print deadline for the Newcastle Pacer.
