The Racers managed an eighth place team finish at the Class 5A Region C Conference golf tournament Monday, April 1 at Lake Hefner Golf Course.
Newcastle finished with a 331 team score. Evan Goold was the low scorer with a 76, good enough for a 10th place finish. Cayden Viss shot an 83 and Mason Dobbs shot an 84. Keaton Fuksa shot an 88 for the Racers, while Colton Bradley shot a 92.
Regionals are scheduled May 1 at John Conrad Regional Golf Course in Midwest City. The State Golf Tournament is scheduled May 6-7 at Winter Creek Golf and Country Club in Blanchard.
