Senator Jessica Garvin (RDuncan) has officially filed for re-election. Garvin, who said she is known for her dedication to conservative principles and effective legislation, has made substantial contributions to the state through her work in the Senate.
She said her campaign for re-election underscores her commitment to furthering the progress that has been achieved under her leadership.
“I am deeply committed to the well-being and prosperity of Oklahomans,” Garvin said. “It has been my honor to work on critical legislation that not only defends our constitutional rights, but also promotes economic growth and educational opportunities across our state.”
Garvin said she has been at the forefront of several key legislative efforts, including the fight to save rural hospitals and clinics, the elimination of the state grocery tax, and significant tax reforms that have benefited both individuals and businesses in Oklahoma. She said these initiatives have not only provided financial relief to Oklahomans, but have also contributed to the state’s economic resilience.
“Our mission to reduce the tax burden on Oklahoma families and businesses is yielding positive results,” Garvin said. “We’ve also made historic strides in education, ensuring that every child has access to quality learning environments, regardless of their zip code.”
In addition to economic and educational reforms, Garvin said she has played a pivotal role in protecting the rights and interests of Oklahomans, including efforts to safeguard jobs in the community, advocate for women’s sports, solidify constitutional carry, and oppose policies that threaten the values and freedoms cherished by the state’s residents.
“Protecting our state’s key industries and preserving our way of life are priorities that guide my work every day,” Garvin said.

She is a recent recipient of the CPAC Conservative Achievement award, which recognizes efforts to promote conservative policies and principles.
Senate District 43 represents Cleveland, Garvin, Grady, McClain, and Stephens Counties.
