The annual Newcastle Easter Egg Hunt is at 2 p.m, Saturday, March 23. Booths run by area businesses will be set up for kid-friendly games and activities.
Everyone is invited to attend and participate.
Citywide Garage Sale April 25-27
Each spring, bargain hunters flock to Newcastle for our Annual Citywide Garage Sale, said Kyle Marks, director of Parks and Recreation.
The sale will be April 25-27, and the normal City of Newcastle garage sale permit fee is waived. Registration is free, and must be done online.
An interactive map of garage sale locations will be online shortly before the event begins to help shoppers find and plan out their hunt for bargains, Marks said.

Newcastle Farmer’s, Artisan’s Market every Saturday starting May 4 - Sept. 28
The City wants to remind farmers or talented artisans that they will have the opportunity to showcase their goods at the annual Newcastle Farmers & Artisans Market.
It will be every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at Veterans Park in Newcastle from May 4 through September 28.
“We’re thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the Newcastle Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market,” Marks said. “Whether you grow the freshest produce, or craft unique handmade treasures, this is your opportunity to join our vibrant community of local vendors.”
