The guest speaker for the McClain County GOP in their 7 p.m. Monday, March 25 meeting at the Newcastle Storm Shelter is author of “Stolen Government,” former State Representative Charles Key.
Key is the principal of Key Financial Advisors LLC, an independent financial consulting firm specializing in retirement, financial planning, and insurance services. McClain County GOP Chair Paul Maus said Key has been helping business owners, individuals, and families reach their goals for 33 years using safe money concepts and common-sense solutions to their financial planning needs.
Maus said he has lived in Oklahoma City for 60 years, and has been an active member of local and national organizations. Key has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 19861998, and also 2006-2012. In the House he was the chair of the Insurance Committee, Judiciary, Financial Services, Retirement, Commerce, Industry & Labor, Education, Corrections, Rules, and Banking & Finance, and he served as Assistant Floor Leader and Minority Whip.
Maus said they will also have local candidates sharing updates on their campaigns for public office.
There will be a meet and greet from 6:30 to 7 p.m. The Newcastle Storm shelter is located at 851 North Carr Drive. Maus said republicans look forward to meeting everyone there.
