The University of Oklahoma announced the students named to its fall 2022 honor roll, a distinction given to those who achieve the highest academic standards.
Newcastle residents who were on the list are: Courtney Elizabeth Armstrong, Leslie Magaly Arriaga, Caitlin Michelle Beson, Danny Ray Bigelow, Aiden D. Bryant, Tristin Miles Cathey, Roman Gabriel Chavez, Abbigail Elouise Collins, Rylie Lunden Farrell, Peyton Ferguson, David Allen Fleenor, Cale Ray Greenroyd, Kamara Ray Harris, Kaden W. Holt, Patricia Kastens, Jayson Robert Lantis, Lauren Cott Leach, Betsy Jackelin Medrano, Amanda Lorellen Owens, Marie Anna Pate, Emilee Lorraine Pinkston, Derick Wayne Price, Elizabeth Rayann Prince, Nathan Navarro Roper, Devon Dekotalee Schiffman, Jay WIlliam Shoumaker, Skyler Michael Shurow, Kyle Gable Snook, Cory Andrew Stalsworth, Summer Deniz Van Cleave, Amanda Brooke Withrow, and Parker Wesley Young.
The honor rolls recognize undergraduate students in the academic programs based at OU’s Norman campus and at the OU Health Sciences Center.
For students in Norman campus programs, the fall honor roll also includes grades that may have been earned during the winter intersession, which count toward students’ overall grade-point averages for the preceding semester.
A total of 9,260 students were named to the fall 2022 honor rolls.
Of these students, 4,007 were named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an “A” grade in all their courses, however, the listing contains students from both the President’s and the Dean’s Honor Rolls.
