Newcastle High School just announced the cast of their first-ever school musical production, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.”
Their performances will be at 7 p.m. March 28-29, and at 2 p.m. March 30 at the NHS Auditorium, 101 N. Main Street.
Playing Charlie Brown is Braxton Cyrus, while Aubrey Cain will be playing Snoopy. The full cast is pictured and named to the right of this story.
Featuring an ensemble of talented cast members, this musical adaptation is a heartwarming journey through the beloved “Peanuts” comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz. The production showcases the enduring charm and wit of Charlie Brown and his friends, bringing the iconic characters to life on stage.
The production is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC (www.concordtheatricals.com).
Under the expert direction of Ms. Abbigail Schmitz and Mrs. Sarah Stancil, the cast has been diligently preparing to deliver an unforgettable performance.
The musical features the book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.
Tickets for the production are $10 for adults, $5 for students. Concession will be available through cash transactions only.
