The City of Newcastle is preparing for this year’s Citywide Garage Sale, according to Parks and Recreation Director Kyle Marks.
He said, “Each spring, bargain hunters flock to Newcastle for our Annual Citywide Garage Sale. The sale is held the last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of April. This year it is on April 25-27.”
The City’s normal garage sale permit fee is waived for this event, he said. Marks said registration is free, and must be done online.
“An interactive map of garage sale locations will be online shortly before the event begins to help you find and plan out your hunt for bargains,” Marks said.
