Newcastle area students listed on Oklahoma University Fall Honor Rolls

The University of Oklahoma announced today the students named to its fall 2023 honor roll, a distinction given to those who achieve the highest academic standards. Several Newcastle students were among those listed. A total of 9,859 students were named to the fall 2023 honor roll. Of these students, 4,290 were named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an “A” grade in all their courses.

President’s Honor Roll recipients listing Newcastle as their home town are: Courtney Elizabeth Armstrong, Leslie Magaly Arriaga, Tristin Miles Cathey, Cale Ray Greenroyd, Kaden W. Holt, Raylee Faith Johnson, Colin David Moeller, Skyler Michael Shurow, Gabrielle Leigh Stephens, Summer Deniz Van Cleave, Judy Brianna Christine Warren, and Samantha McKenzie Watson.

Dean’s Honor Roll recipients listing Newcastle as their home town are: James Cameron Cathey, Abbigail Elouise Collins, Reagan Leigh Elliott, Peyton Ferguson, David Allen Fleenor, Taryn M. Fullingim, Woods Davis Harrell, Jayson Robert Lantis, Betsy Jackelin Medrano, Robert Casey O’Connor, Gavin Jake Orahood, Abigail Paige Otis, Shane M. Perry, Derick Wayne Price, Elizabeth Rayann Prince, Jaeden Alexis Rice, Aydan Renee Smith, Kyle Gable Snook, Noah Don Tallant, Kayleigh Elizabeth Taylor, Rebecca L. Town, and Parker Wesley Young.

The honor roll recognizes undergraduate students in the academic programs based at OU’s Norman campus and at OU Health Sciences. For students in Norman campus programs, the fall honor roll also includes grades that may have been earned during the winter intersession, which count toward students’ overall grade-point averages for the preceding semester.

In most colleges, full-time undergraduate students who completed 12 or more letter graded hours with a gradepoint average of 4.0 were named to the President’s Honor Roll. Students on the Norman campus with a gradepoint average of 3.5 or higher were included in the Dean’s Honor Roll.
