Spring sports are beginning in Newcastle. Soccer got underway last week as the Lady Racers took first place on Saturday at the Girls Soccer Festival.
A Boys Soccer Festival is from 7:30 -10 a.m. Saturday at Newcastle High School.
The boys and girls played at Moore on Tuesday and the girls play at Choctaw today (Thursday).
The Lady Racers are coached by Hannah Venable, and the boys are coached by Nick McMillian.

Baseball, slow-pitch softball, golf, and track and field are getting underway, as well.
