Area families should plan ahead for this year’s City of Newcastle Parks & Recreation Easter Egg Hunt, at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Veterans Park. Area business owners and individuals have a sponsorship opportunity for that day.

Director of Parks & Recreation Kyle Marks said the City is looking for booths to set up at the park with fun games or activities for kids. Marks said if you are interested, to please reach out to him at the City, 405-387-4506.

“This is a great way to advertise your business to the community,” Marks said.

Set up is at noon, while the egg hunt will start promptly at 2 p.m. and all activities will wrap up by 5 p.m. Marks said the Egg Hunt is planned on the last Saturday of Spring Break, but that was just how the City’s events landed this year.
