Newcastle swimmer Connor Leader is the Regional Champion in two swimming events.
Leader won first place in the Individual Medley and first place in the Butterfly Stroke on February 4 at Edmond.
The Class 5A West Regional was held at the Edmond Aquatic Center that day, and Leader finished with a finals time of 2:02.22 in the Individual Medley, and a finals time of 1:02.86 in the Breast Stroke.
He will be representing Newcastle again as he travels back to Edmond February 17-18 to compete at the Class 5A State Swim Meet.
