While not considered a big problem in Newcastle, homeless were living in two makeshift housing locations on private property off State Highway 37 just north of the Tri City Mart convenience store. Newcastle Police Department received a complaint from the property owners last week, and made contact with two of three individuals who were living there, citing them with trespassing warnings.
