The Racers have come back after the Christmas and New Year’s break to win all of their games except one. They took a loss, also at the Noble Tourney, to Class 4A #5-ranked Perkins-Tryon, 53-45.

The Racers added two more wins on January 6 against Bridge Creek at the Noble Tournament, 68-62, and then against Kingfisher, 67-31.

Newcastle was scheduled to play Class 4A #4-ranked Bethany on Tuesday night this week, and then will host the Sweet Pea Tournament Friday and Saturday.

Teams participating include: Douglass, Lawton Ike, Enid, OKC Storm, Newcastle, Noble, Lawton Macarthur and Del City junior varsity. Tournament brackets are on page 7. They’ll play Tuttle again at home on Tuesday, January 23.
