With Christmas cheer in mind, we asked Newcastle Elementary School to help us obtain letters to Santa Claus from students in the third grade classrooms.
The teachers, staff and a dmi n i s tration grac iously helped with the project.
While virtual reality items, gaming devices, sports jerseys and makeup were popular items to request, one of our favorite letters came from Jack in Jones’ classroom. He mentioned several items, but added that he would like $85 million dollars to give to the homeless along with six PlayStation 5 devices.
Another favorite came from Molly in Hubble’s class. She requests that the whole world be healthy and can have peace and harmony. To read all the letters, turn to pages 8 and 9.
