The November state tax collections reflecting October sales for Medical Marijuana in Newcastle showed a total return of $30,868.49.
Of that total, seven percent collected — coming to $16,163.07 — was returned to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
Another $7,352.71 in sales taxes was collected and returned to the City of Newcastle coffers. As well, $7,352.71 was distributed back to the State of Oklahoma for state sales tax.
On sales in their cities, the City of Blanchard was returned $7,507.96 while the City of Purcell was returned $6,372.55.
