The Oklahoman just released its annual Little All City Softball Team and the Newcastle Racers were well represented.

The State Champion Racers had a Player of the Year finalist who was also a first team member, two other first team members, two second team members, two honorable mention, and Coach of the Year.

Newcastle senior pitcher Aubree Ferguson was a finalist for Player of the Year along with sophomore Kynlee Swain of Tuttle, and junior Kinsley Hill of Dale.

Newcastle Head Coach Mike Crossley, who was named Little All City Coach of the Year, said the Player of the Year will be recognized by the Oklahoman later in the year.

Senior first basemen Brooklyn Lyles and senior outfielder Madelyn Torrenueva were also both named to the first team Little All City.

Junior catcher Lilyana Portillo and junior outfielder Vanessa Portillo were named second team Little All City.

Senior infielder Meredith Strange and junior infielder Lexie Lovelace were both named honorable mention Little All City.
