A date for the annual Christmas parade and Christmas in the Park/North Pole Market has been set by the City of Newcastle as Saturday, December 2. Christmas in the Park takes place at Veterans Park on 10th Street, one block east of Main Street.
Vendors, sponsors and those who wish to have a float can sign up online at https:// www.cognitoforms.com/ A City official said, “Whether its a tasty treat, a creative lighted parade float, or an interesting crafted item, we want your unique participation in the 3rd Annual Christmas in the Park Parade and Market. “
The official added, “This year we will have a lighted Christmas parade.”
The Christmas Market will start at 3:30 p.m., the parade will start at 5:45 p.m., and a tree lighting will follow the parade.
A 10’x10’ space for booth rental is $25. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, and tents. Booth rental fees will go to support Fire House Santa.
