Cameron University is pleased to recognize students who have received merit scholarships as part of Scholars Convocation Week, a celebration of academic excellence. Two of those were from Newcastle.
Angela Grover-Bellows was awarded the Sondra Bonnington Memorial Endowed Scholarship, and Rylee R. Ross was awarded the President’s Partners Scholar.
During the week of October 30, Cameron will celebrate the academic achievements of its students with a weeklong observance which recognizes which celebrates the research, scholarly and creative activities of CU students, faculty and staff.
Another area student listed was Blanchard resident Anthony Mans, who was awarded the James R. and Irene J. Lawrence Memorial Endowed Trust Scholarship.
