McClain-Grady County Emergency Medical Services has begun their 2024 Membership Drive with an annual membership for $65 per household.
The membership drive includes residents in Newcastle, Blanchard and Dibble school districts.
A pamphlet was mailed out to area residents recently which outlines the membership, which includes a 24-hour emergency response “Your membership with the McClain-GradyCountyE.M.S. guarantees financial peace of mind when it comes to service,” said McClain-Grady County EMS Director Robin Robinson. “Funds derived from memberships allow the District to purchase and maintain the equipment to provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) care as well as pay the salaries of Paramedics.”
Robinson said all persons living in your immediate residence and listed as immediate family members are covered. Newborns and newly adopted children are automatically covered. Family members residing in nursing homes or at a different address must have a separate membership.
There are no insurance deductibles to meet your out-ofpocket expenses; although, you are responsible to assist the EMS with the collection of any third party reimbursement to keep the membership cost low.
