During the month of September, a McClain County student was honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture and received an academic scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Lauren Miller of Newcastle earned a scholarship for her continued studies in biochemistry and molecular biology.
Thescholarshipispartofthemorethan$1.8millionthatstudents receive from the Ferguson College and its academic departments. Students from all areas of study are considered for university scholarships, which can be combined with college and departmental opportunities.
