The Newcastle City Council signed a resolution urging Newcastle’s state legislators to support a bill that could see the city sales tax revenue increase.

House Bill 1875, authored by Rep. Charles McCall, R-Sulphur, and Sen. Clark Jolley, R-Edmond, would reduce the charges levied for the collection of sales and use tax by the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
